  • On one of my PCs, I downloaded APowerSoft launcher and install it. When I then press START RECORDING I am asked to download it again. This cycle repeats itself. Cannot start online recorder.

    Please follow the suggestions below to check out this issue.

    1. Open “Task Manager” to check whether the Apowersoft Online Launcher has been launched or not.

    2. Usually, the launcher will run automatically when it’s installed. Could you please check whether the launcher has been blocked by firewall or other security applications on your computer or not?

    Or you can simply download the free desktop version from below URL and use it.

    I cannot download the recorder card to my mac. I have tried changing my privacy settings.

    I am having a similar issue. When launching the on-line scree recorder, it gets stuck trying to launch.

        Dear User, please kindly clear the cache of your browser and refresh the page. If you recorder is not the latest version, it will update itself after the refreshing. Then, please check the taks manger on your PC and end the process of this online recorder if it's still running in the background, and then launch the program.     I’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps but I’m still unable to launch it ??

    Don’t see it running in task manager either.

    Same thing here, It worked a few days ago last time i tried to launch it, it said error. I didnt really care so i pressed the “X” button and went on with my life. Today i tried to open it and it just said “download launcher” I pressed download it said “error replacing files” So i deleted my laptop account and made a new one and tried it again, Same issue. So then i deleted it completely (uninstalled it) And tried downloading it again, It downloaded without any error but still would not launch. Please help.

    I am having the exact same problem. I have tried all the steps repeatedly and it alternates between the error code, or if it completes successfully, it does not launch and tells me to download the launcher again.

    I am also having the same issue. I have tried restarting, redownloading, as well as the desktop version. Is the online recorder down for maintenance?

    The same thing is happening to me, the Apowersoft online screen recorder was working fine two days ago but yesterday it kept asking me to download and install every time I clicked “start recording”, even though I already downloaded and installed it. I tried the task manager thing, uninstalling it and re-installing, restarting my computer, nothing works.

        I have the same problem in my MacBook Pro. The launcher doesn't works anymore, Everytime a message saying: Dowload launcher appears and the app for recording is never launched, I have even uninstalled the antivirus, turning off the firewall, reinstalled the launcher and nothing.

        Unfortunately, using the desktop version doesn't helps because allows only 3 minutes of recording and the tools bar is very big, the online versions was much better.

How to Use Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder

Preparation

Simply prepare a computer that can access to internet successfully and a browser for visiting the site.

Launch Application

Visit Apowersoft Free Online Screen Recorder and click “Start Recording”.

Tips: If this is your first time using this tool, an online launcher is required to be installed in order to enable the recorder. Click “Download Launcher” after hitting “Start Recording”.

Once the online launcher is successfully installed,click “Start Recording” again. Next, hit “Open Apowersoft Online Launcher.exe” and the recorder will then be launched.

Configure settings

Certain recording settings can be adjusted before starting the recording, such as frame rate, bit rate, video format, recording mode and so much more. To enter the settings, click the third icon from right side of the recording toolbar and choose “Options”.

General Settings: At this panel, you can set up keyboard shortcuts for “Start recording”, “Stop recording”, “Pause/Resume recording”, “Show/Hide recording toolbar”. Additionally, you can select default output directory. Don’t forget to click “OK” after adjusting the configurations to save the changes.

Recording Settings: Under this board, mouse styles, audio quality, bitrate, frame rate, codec and mode are available for you to change. Moreover, you can also check or uncheck certain basic recording settings according to personal preferences.

Now, simply drag in or out the recording frame to choose the recording region. And for audio settings, you can select to record system sound, microphone, both or none.
